Just got back from NYC.  Had a good time.  Fun seeing friends and family. Ate too much, read Bloghungry in the coming days for details on that story.

Met a beautiful baby, fell in love with DUMBO, caught a cultural performance of hits from the 50s sang by a hobo on a subway, drank tequila with new friends at a Truck Stop with a Hot Tub, reunited with old friends on streets and in restaurants, saw my brother's posh office, saw my employer's posh office, spent 11 minutes looking at Jeff Koons' Art at The Met, spent 8 minutes looking at people at the pool at Soho House, went to 4 bakeries in 2 hours (again, read Bloghungry for more on that) and had an overall exhausting (yet entertaining) 5 days on the east coast.

Things you think you'll hate but end up loving...

Spirit Airlines and a Will.i.am solo song. 

PopMuse flew Spirit last week and thought it was going to be miserable, but turns out, a Business Class Seat is like $500.  They call them "Big Front Leather Seats" but don't be fooled they're Business Class, love.  The catch with Spirit is there is no food or entertainment, which is fine, I bring my own snacks and far as entertainment goes...

I've always found that your intake of TV and Movies on airplanes is skewed.  How else can you explain enjoying "Two and Half Men"?  I think the same could be said for Music.  Everytime I fly I listen to Fall Out Boy's CD "Infinity on High" and LOVE it?  Anyway, this last fight I listened to will.i.am's solo single "Heartbreaker" over and over for hours, loving it more and more each time.  Altitude is a mystery.  Although I also liked will's performance of "Heartbreaker" on the AMAs too.  All I know is I can't stand Will.i.am in a regular altitude.
