Good Morning 2010

Walking Carrie Fisher (the dog) morning after what looks like a crazy New Years Eve night in West Hollywood. Sidewalks are covered in glitter and balloons, appropriately.  (Our little family slept through the whole thing, appropriately.) 

My headphones are playing FOXY's New INCREDIBLE MIX which is breaking my heart and giving me faith in the future all at once.  This song "Headphones" plays as I walk by a trashed '10 Balloon and it's enough to make me believe in God, and then I remember pop music  is my God, and know everything will be OK in 2010 long as I got music.  Happy New Year's Day Kids! xx, PopMuse

Mariah's Perfect (Imperfect) Booklet

So a few weeks ago DWH told me about the booklet for Mariah's Imperfect Angel CD, but I just found it on-line and saw for myself...  Ummmm WOW!!!!  I think I had read about the Elle Magazine tie-in, but this crazy fanzine exceeds anything Elle has ever produced. 

I'm so happy Mariah's Mariah-ness is in full bloom and America is on-board with each crazy step she takes.  I mean, going back and recreating old Album covers, (with photoshop mainly) and not doing all of them, just a few - hilarious, love her.

You may have heard about this booklet, but looking at it is a whole  experience.  AND you finally get a chance to read the impossible brilliant lyrics to "Up Out My Face"  --  "Not even a nail technician with a whole lotta gel and acryllic can fix this."  Works on so many level, no?  Enjoy!

Tyler Perry: God's Favorite

PopMuse is a massive Tyler Perry fan.  I am fascinated by his whole world, the Madea, the movies, the plays, the director, the actor, the actress, the man, the woman.  He is the male Tyra Banks. 

Just listen to the crazy sh*t that came out of his mouth while accepting an NAACP award for his TV Show "TYLER PERRY'S House of Payne" last week.  

"God's Favorite" did he really say that?  And for that crappy TV show?  WOW!  Wow.  And the way he drops into his Drag Alter-Ego Madea's voice when they start playing the music to shut his crazy ass up... Magic.  I love him.

And as a bonus watch a pissed off India Arie presenting an award and bitching out the Grammy's, why did she boycott and did anyone notice?  Please fill me in.

HOLIDAY HANGOVER? NEED LIFE COACHING?

"This Video Contains All Of The Reasons Why Our Society Is Doomed".  As Alex wrote, "Today on E!'s "Sunset Tan" this nutjob Hollywood mom takes her 4th grade daughter to the tanning salon (which is funny enough in and of itself), but goes on and on about wanting her to look "just like Lindsay Lohan" while the E! crawl on the bottom of the screen displays the Lohan arrest/coke story AT THE SAME TIME. The result is, as they say, priceless." Priceless indeed... watch above.

And I just want to make sure you've all seen Britney Spears Latest Open Letter to her fans.  It is a reason to learn how to read, seriously. 

As PopMuse friend MRS wrote me earlier:  "It's a sermon! She better start putting this together as a one-woman show immediately. If she performed this at the House of Blues, I'd fall in love with her all over again. "Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me."  Who knew she was so cheap?

I know this is a question you all ask yourself daily.  And guess what,  KIRK CAMERON has the answer!  Yup, teen heartthrob turned Christian Zealot, Kirk Cameron has one of the most entertaining websites out there.  You can play games, quizzes, questionnaires and of course give some money, all with the goal of getting your sinner ass into Heaven.  Bless.

BTW I have seen the film that this image is from, an it was genius.  We watched it at one of our "Bad Movie Nights" (this one happened to be on Easter.)  If you only see one Christian Film starring an Ex TV Star this week, this is the one!

Whatever, she's secretly behind every international scandal anyway.  Just look what happened to Britney after Madonna wore that T-Shirt.
