Watched "P.S. I Love You" (well watched half of it) at Bad Movie Night tonight.  This here clip above, is a HOLY F*CKING SHIT Moment (there are many).  It's Hilary Swank singing Prince's "Gett Off" karaoke-style.  Yeah, terrifying.  And that stomach shot - ewwww, having a 16 inch waist is NOT sexy.

Two more notes about this movie.  It's a lesbian film, made by lesbians for lesbians.  CLEARLY.  And they are using Ted Demme's Urn as a prop to stand in for Gerard Butler's, which is totally disgusting.  Talk about rolling over in your urn.

Adam Sandler: Post-Mophobic

What exactly happened to Adam Sandler to make him so homophobic?  He is so brazenly homophobic he is Post-Mophobic.  In fact he is so Post-Mophobic he is going to dedicate the final films of his doomed career to lame gay jokes.  I know he is a big Republican, but damn, you're in Hollywood, how bout a touch of tolerance bitch. 

I want to laugh at the Mariah T-Shirts in this poster and traiier, but coming off of Chuck & Larry I just can't see humor in another miserable gay joke.  Too soon, too soon.

I'm super busy entertaining out of town guests, mad working and cold chilling.  But I thought I would open up the floor to you PopMuse readers with a question...  Whatever happened to Vince Vaughn?  My guess, Jim Beam and Jennifer Aniston.  Talk about a career killing combination.  Thoughts?

Cooking With The Hills

If I had to encapsulate all of (my man) Bloghungry's hatred of "The Hills" in a video clip, this would be the one.  In fact if I had to capture all the things Bloghungry dislikes about Los Angeles in a video clip, this would be the one.  This moment is ridic, who doesn't know the words for 'Pots and Pans'?  The ladies on The Hills, that's who.  Watch above or HERE.

AND YES, I'm re-watching the old episodes of The Hills on The N (look deep on your Guide, it's there) and I'm loving every minute of it.  PopMuse misses Elodie and Heidi's old face, bad.

The Darjeeling Limited - Not a good nap.

Doing that much Heroin, Indian Pain Killers and Cough Medicine, how do you get so much work done?  When I'm doing Heroin, Indian Pain Killers and Cough Medicine all I want to do is eat.  I joke. 

I like Wes Anderson movies.  I like to take naps to them, no it's not a bad thing, it took me 8 tries to get through The Life Aquatic, I kept falling asleep, but in the end, loved the film, like I love his others.  But Darjeeling wasn't a good nap, (dead children distract from sleep) and wasn't an enjoyable watch either.  And ENOUGH with the daddy issues already.

But there are 3 things The Darjeeling Limited still has going for it:

1. Hotel Chevalier (Gorgeous Short Film/Prelude to TDL which is on the DVD and above.)

2.  That Wes Anderson Font (Futura Bold. if you're wondering).  Obsessed with the way he uses it... Timeless, perfect.

3. Randall Poster - his music supervisor.  Now I'd guess a hipster like Anderson probably has his own ideas about Music, but damn were those cues on point.  Love the way he uses lyrics to play off scenes.  Hard to do right.  But done so right especially with this track...

PopMuse.com is 3 YEARS OLD today.  I've never mentioned blog birthdays before because, well, who really cares?  But since I've got nothing else to say, I thought I would mention it. 

Being the PopMuse has provided many surprises and infinite enjoyment, seriously folks.

Over the years PopMuse has been many things to many people.  We've covered gossip, trends, vintage videos, current vid clips, music downloads, personal revelations, blah blah and boom boom...  It has been a place for me to share my musings of the moment.  And I thank you, my faithful readers, for hanging out at my water cooler.

In honor of PopMuse.com's B-Day I wanted to link some old posts that have received bizarre or noteworthy comments.  Because without you, PopMuse is... you know.

Who knew a Gay Joke about Jared Leto would turn into all this. 

Or that 90's Female White Raptress MISA would illicit an email from the lady herself.

Tyler Perry: God's Favorite

PopMuse is a massive Tyler Perry fan.  I am fascinated by his whole world, the Madea, the movies, the plays, the director, the actor, the actress, the man, the woman.  He is the male Tyra Banks. 

Just listen to the crazy sh*t that came out of his mouth while accepting an NAACP award for his TV Show "TYLER PERRY'S House of Payne" last week.  

"God's Favorite" did he really say that?  And for that crappy TV show?  WOW!  Wow.  And the way he drops into his Drag Alter-Ego Madea's voice when they start playing the music to shut his crazy ass up... Magic.  I love him.

And as a bonus watch a pissed off India Arie presenting an award and bitching out the Grammy's, why did she boycott and did anyone notice?  Please fill me in.

Elliot Mintz: RAW

Nilblogette sent me this picture of Elliot Mintz today and it is haunting my soul.  Mintz is a celebrity "Press Representative" who has worked for John & Yoko, Christie Brinkley, Don Johnson, Bob Dylan, and most recently Paris Hilton.  Why do I suddenly hear Michael Jackson singing "Keep it in the closet! (Swack) Doo Dip Doo Dip Dooo...".

Anyway, the pic, from Paris' B-Day Party last night...  Well, it looks like Mintz had a facial peel and thought he could cover up his raw pink skin with orange bronzer.  I think it was successful, no.  Terrifying.

Crowned is the New Everything

Never has exploitation of idiots been so delicious as on the CW's latest trash-fest "CROWNED".  It's a Mother-Daughter (Beauty?) Pageant, blah blah...  Just jump in now, you haven't missed anything that won't be repeated in a recaps over and over. 

Why?  'Cause unlike other judged shows where they only have one 'Simon' this show is has 3, sometimes 4 mean judges.  So it is constant insults, weeeee!  Even Shanna Moakler and Carson Kressley are entertaining, which says a lot about the editing.  You will love, trust The Muse.
