Not Everything on "Funny or Die" is Funny... Or Cheap

So, I'm curious about Funny Or Die...  Who pays for these videos?  Not the small little home made ones, the big Celeb ones.  Are people working for free in the hopes they have created the next great Viral Video?  It's been bothering me and I'd like an answer. 

This spot (above) could not have been THAT cheap to shoot.  Is the Will Farrell's Gang footing the bill for these celeb infested comedy clips?  Because in these economic times shouldn't the scripts or concepts be tighter than this one.  Why waste Justin Long's time (and lung capacity) on something so pedestrian?

Although I will say, Zefron is such a HUGE star the minute he is on camera the whole thing elevates, I'll give him that.
