Meet Carrie Fisher
I'd like to introduce you to the lastest addition to the PopMuse / Bloghungry household... Ms. Carrie Fisher. Yup, Sunday we adopted this sweet little lady and named her "Carrie Fisher". Why "Carrie Fisher"? Well, the human Carrie Fisher is the daughter of two very famous parents, (ahem, we're a power blogging couple, ya heard?) Also, she's no puppy, she's 6 years old, and in this town that makes her a thousand! We got her from a Rescue (ahem, rehab) and we were told she's been through a lot of mistreatment in Hollywood. She came to us underweight and with a "bad cold" (ahem, serious Coke problem.) But with Bloghungry's cooking skills, and my tough love, she is getting healthy (ahem, sober.)
Her name also had something to do with the clip below, which will make sense to just about 1 of you, but that's OK, watch anyway... It's Carrie Fisher's appearance on Sex And The City (it also features SJP and Vince Vaughn long before he was Jence.)
Bonus: Wanna see Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine act out a scene from our kitchen this morning? Meryl - Carrie Fisher (the dog), Shirley - Me (the muse), as if you had to ask.
a beauty!
a lady!

That's a deep analogy. Carrie Fisher the dog = Meryl Streep = the real Carrie Fisher. Popmuse = Shirley MacLaine = Debbie Reynolds. Does that make bloghungry the contemptable Eddie Fisher, bubbly Connie Stevens, or perhaps even Liz Taylor (the Jolie of the 1960s)?

It's all been said before, but I think Prince and Sheena Easton say it best: U got the Look.
...but the bigger question is: will the daughter of two powerbloggers follow in her daddies' footsteps or will she find her voice elsewhere? Will she shack up with David Spades' pekingese or get all rough and rebellious with a d-listeres' german shepard....whatever her path may be, steer her clear of that Federline chihuahua.
